Our Story

The BUF: Global Outreach program at the Baptist University of Florida was developed starting in 2024 and officially established in 2025 with a vision to equip and send students on mission. Under the leadership of Dr. Luke Creighton, Director of BUF Global Missions Center, the program is committed to making global service accessible to all students, providing opportunities to engage with communities around the world through faith-driven outreach.

With a focus on both service and spiritual growth, Global Outreach partners with local organizations and international ministries to create impactful, sustainable mission experiences. Whether through short-term trips or campus initiatives, students are empowered to share their faith, serve others, and develop a heart for global engagement.

At BUF, we believe that every student has the potential to make a difference. The Global Outreach program exists to remove barriers and open doors, ensuring that more students can step into their calling to serve, learn, and grow—wherever they are sent.
